January 12, 2012 Press Release

A LITTLE DYNASTY CHINESE SCHOOL OPENS SECOND LOCATION TO MEET GROWING DEMAND FOR ORANGE COUNTY CHILDREN TO LEARN CHINESE AND CELEBRATES WITH GRAND OPENING EVENT

Irvine Mayor Sukhee Kang, Councilmember Steven Choi, and members of the Southern California Council of Chinese Schools join families of A Little Dynasty Chinese School to celebrate opening of new high tech school.

IRVINE, CA (January 12, 2012) – A Little Dynasty Chinese School at 9844 Research Drive in the Irvine Spectrum area celebrated the opening of its second school today with a grand opening event that featured cultural performances by students, children’s pastry demonstrations by a Le Cordon Bleu trained Chinese teacher, live classroom demonstrations, and an official ribbon cutting by Irvine Mayor Sukhee Kang and representatives of A Little Dynasty Chinese School, who conceived the modern, high tech Chinese School to meet the needs of a new generation of children wishing to learn Mandarin Chinese – the modern way.

“A Little Dynasty Chinese School is to be congratulated for opening its second school in Irvine, which reflects the wonderful diversity of our community” said Mayor Sukhee Kang.  The school focuses on making learning fun and uses modern approaches to appeal to today’s tech savvy children.   A Little Dynasty Chinese School, with its state of the art facilities and amenities, is also joining the community at a time where there is a real need to meet the growing interests amongst many Orange County children who want to learn Chinese.

“We want to set a new standard for how Mandarin Chinese is taught to children and be effective in providing them greater opportunities in the future to compete in our growing global economy,” said Charles Liu, manager of A Little Dynasty Chinese School, who opened their first location in September 2010. “We feel our unique curriculum and approach to teaching allowed us to grow enough to open a second location within just one year of opening our first school at the Quail Hill Village Center.”

A Little Dynasty’s new school is located at the Brenexus Office Park in the Irvine Spectrum area.  Its two story state of the art facility will feature an inviting reception area, high tech parent’s lounge with complimentary wi fi access, computer work stations, and an expresso bar.  There will be a charming and dynamic children’s play area, a multipurpose conference room, a media lab to take advantage of the latest Chinese educational software and media programs, a library, a culinary demonstration area, an activity area for children’s fitness, dance, and yoga classes, and staging area for puppet shows, recitals, and performances.

A Little Dynasty offers several programs for children to learn Chinese:  Parent & Me Chinese classes, Chinese language immersion classes, an after school Chinese immersion program for school aged children, and a Chinese summer camp program.  Parents point to the school’s focus on small class sizes, making learning fun, and effective individual results, as the main reasons why they chose the school.  They also point out the school’s teachers are always aware of their child’s individual needs and they have that special ability to make learning so fun that learning Chinese becomes a natural process for them.

A Little Dynasty Chinese School is pleased to open their new Irvine Spectrum location as an addition to their first school in the Quail Hill area.  Both locations are currently accepting enrollments www.alittledynasty.com.

A Little Dynasty Chinese School in Irvine, California is for children 15 months and up and offers Parent & Me Chinese Classes, Chinese Immersion School Classes, Chinese After School Program, and  Chinese Summer Camp.
